Water Responsibly
As gardeners, we are involved in stewardship or management of the earth, and in Colorado that means careful water management. Water is a very limited resource and urban landscaping uses of water compete with farmers and wildlife for water. Much of the water in Eastern Colorado is actually taken from Western Colorado. While trees, groundcover and turf make our cities beautiful and create a healthy urban environment, we want to accomplish this landscaping with as little water use as possible. This section of UrbanGarDenver will catalog blog posts related to responsible water use.
